Waters’ Edge Visitor Centre is one of the ‘greenest’ buildings in the UK. Set in an 86-acre park, the stunning curved glass building sits on the waterfront adjacent to the Humber Bridge. Interactive displays and games illustrate the wildlife of the area and encourage visitors to care for their environment. Discreet lipstick cameras in nesting boxes and at feeding stations give a wonderful insight into the secret life of the birds and animals that make the area their home. The surrounding 86-acre Country Park has walks past reedbeds, meadows and through woodland, with two well-equipped children’s play areas.
